Elin Nordegren Woods is definitely playing it cool with the whole Tiger accident/alleged affair thing — at least to our knowledge. She seems like a pretty private person anyway, and all the media attention isn’t bringing out any more information from the blonde. But, then there’s the side of the story where she’s painted as an Escalade-bashing, angry wife, so we’re not sure what to believe.
Before this weekend’s fiasco, there’s apparently only been one other piece of substance written about the mysterious woman behind the golf pro, a 2004 profile from Sports Illustrated. Even that focuses on how little information she lets off to anyone but her tight-knit circle, according to Yahoo Sports.
The Swedish woman was first seen with Woods in 2002, and she comes from a well-off European family. She’s never been one for the spotlight, even though tabloids hounded her from the get-go. So, it’s a little bit of a shock to think that this reserved, classy lady flipped a switch this weekend, but, hey, there’s probably a lot more to her, and the story.
Elin Nordegren and Tiger married in October 2004 and Nordegren gave birth to a daughter, Sam Alexis Woods, in June 2007. A son, Charlie Axel Woods, was born on February 8, 2009.
