Forbes has released their annnual list of billionaires. The world shocked by a new richest man, Carlos Slim Helu, a Mexican tycoon. He takes the top of the Forbes billionaire list.
Carlos Slim Helu beating out Bill Gates who has held on the title 14 times.
Slim has an estimanted $53.5 billion while Gates now worth $53 billion in the second rank. On the Third place, Warren Buffet with $47 billion.
With 97 new members, only 16% are from the U.S, while China gained 27 billionaires and Finland and Pakistan welcomed their very first. Apart from the U.S, China has the most billionaires, their number being at 89. Russia is not far from the lead, with a total of 62.
